    Surprised by all the good reviews for this place. Granted I've only eaten here once (maybe the chef was having a bad night), but the two dishes I got, calamari and sizzling fajitas, were edible and "just OK" respectively. The owner was super nice and chatty, and I like that they have outdoor seating (even if it is on a fairly busy four lane road). I hope they can kick the food up a notch, cause it's currently not on par with some equivalently priced nearby places. To the reviewer who called this place "authentic Tex-Mex"; this place is an example of one of DC's many El Salvadorian Tex-Mex knock-offs.

    Since we live nearby and drive by the restaurant almost daily we decided to give it a shot. This is certainly unassuming family-owned restaurant as evident by the looks and atmosphere in general. We tried the mixed fajitas and they were plentiful to share, and delicious. I hope in the future they continue the good service as they grow, and eventually add a bar. Will definitely be returning to Los Primos again.

    Authentic Tex-Mex I've been twice, both times were excellent. Reasonable prices, tacos are on point. Enchiladas were very authentic, although a version with salsa verde would be a welcome addition to the menu. Will definitely come often.

    We had a wonderful experience at this hidden jewel on Twinbrook Pkwy. The food was delicious and the customer service was great. We've never had an owner come out to see how our experience was going and if the food was tasty. It speaks volumes about the passion behind Los Primos Tex Mex & Grill. We'll definitely be back, and with that I'll let the pictures talk for themselves.

    The food was fresh, meat was tender, the sauces were great. Food took a while but can’t complain cause food was amazing. The owner came out to greet all the customers afterwards to check on how we were doing. Very humble owner and waitress. This is a fairly new restaurant but it is on the right path with their humble service and their tasty food.
